Not just tip, but tip well. Seriously, this is something I learned early and the staff (obviously so) take note. If you become a regular there, your service will be exponentially better than normal.

Don't tip large on Thurs, Fri, or Saturday nights. It's a mad rush and your tip does nothing.

Do tip very well on off nights and learn the staffs faces so you can give them a nod or smile if you see them out and about.

Don't think bouncers or bartenders owe you anything. If you are asked to leave, accept it and move on. They will not see the logic in your argument you drunkass.

Don't you fucking dare order a drink with more than 2 ingredients on a Thurs, Fri, or Saturday night.

Don't pre-drink like mad thinking you are going to save money. You will not save money, you will be sloppy drunk, sloppy drunks don't get laid and usually miss the fun.

Always tip large if you have a dope bartender, it will benefit you in the future. Tip cash if you can, the bartenders like that.

Find a cool mellow bar to go to first in the night (9pm-11pm) tip them well, talk to the bar tenders, get free drinks down the road, then go cause a ruckus at the rowdy bars.

Always drink before you go, going to a bar sober is the most depressing thing on a friday night.

BUY ROUNDS dont be that poor dude that goes to the bar and buys one beer for himself, if youre there with your homies, buy them a beer, buy them a shot, they will buy them back. Buying rounds is the most efficent way for you and your friends to drink and it helps the bar stay less crowded cause your 5 friends arent trying to get drinks the same time you are.

I always open a tab, makes it easier for me IMO i know alot of people who like to go cash only, helps them limit spending.

If you break something, own up to it. If you accidentally swipe a glass off of the table, tell staff. Also be sure to have fun with the staff. They are working and missing out on fun, tell them a short, 2 line joke and just be friendly.

Wear a neon shirt that says something like molly, lucy, dubstep. Chug your first 10 beers before going in. Knock things, over, run into people, hit on girls out of your league then call them sluts. Call the bartenders names as well. Start a fight, and get dragged out to the street.

Unless (a) you tip well for it, or (b) it's one of those fishbowl type drinks that you always see girls sharing. Those a big money makers for the bar and they'll happily whip one up for you. We had one at my school's bar called the "Beaver" - it was served in a beer pitcher with ice and straws and had large amounts of booze, beer, and flavored soda/sugar. Hangover recipe.

+1 to everyone who said tip, and another +1 to those who said tip more on quiet nights. Interacting with bartenders on quiet nights will benefit you quickly. They'll start slipping you freebies on those quiet nights and letting you into the bar without paying cover on busy ones.

Make sure you drink at least a third of your drink/beer before you try dancing with it. No one wants that shit sloshed over them on the dance floor because (insert reason for spill here). The floors are already probably sticky enough.

Bring a group. I like to think that there's a "critical mass" effect at bars. If you go to a bar by yourself or with one or two other people, no one will be outright interested in you and you'll have to work to meet people. If you go with a large group and have fun, you'll attract more new people - they'll come to you.

Dont talke shit to bartenders for not serving you Immediately.
Waving your credit card/money in the air makes them not want to serve you even more.
Out of 20 drunk dicks trying to get drinks the homies acting like adults get served first.

shitty tequila gets you just as hammered as the expensive stuff.

if you wanna get served quickly try make eye contact with the bartender and say hi, they may not serve you straight away but you'll be one of the next people they go to and make sure you know what drink you want to order dont waste their time

tip big on your first drink and then normal tips for the rest of the night and make sure they see it, they are more likely to serve you quicker when they see you again

if they ask you to leave just go, you wont win that argument and the staff will remember you next time

go in on quiet nights as well, gives you a chance to introduce yourself and make friends with the bar staff and they will probably toss you a couple of drinks if you aren't a dick

I used to bartend and one time a guy gave me a $20 tip on $30 order - the rest of the night whenever I saw that dude I helped him out as soon as possible. Tip big on your first order and you'll get premium service the rest of the night.

My suggestion is to always have 1-2 fatties rolled up and ask people who seem chill if they want to step outside and roast one with you. Just a nice way to be social and expand your friend circle and have a good time.

About 5 minutes in, if you haven't already figured out if shes into you or not. Touch her hand or leg, just gently. If she doesn't flinch then shes's into you. If she does, fucking leave.

If you sit there in silence for 5 minutes and do that...yeah that's weird. But after like a 5-10 minute conversation at a bar that wouldn't be that weird at all. At least I wouldn't think so.

If you are on a budget, bring cash and your id, but leave your debit/credit cards at home. It's amazing how much money you can spend in the moment of drunkenness that will bite you in the ass come rent time.

Not all (actually hardly any) chicks are at the bar to hook up with randoms. Just leave it alone and have fun with your friends. If it happens, it happens, but chasing it will eventually piss off the wrong person and the odds of getting kicked out/beaten up go way up.

Remember that the staff is sober. They are on to you.

Lemonade powder mix

Definitely be that guy at the bar because that guy gets laid. Make sure you aggressively push your way through the crowd to establish dominance. Only buy bottles and vodka redbull to show everyone else how awesome you are. Make sure you hold up a $20 bill when you're by the bar screaming out to the bartender I can change your life. If two minutes have gone by and he hasn't given you a drink yet call the bar phone from your cell phone and when he picks up tell him to turn around and wave the money.
