Replying to Buttery playful mid fat skis?
I'm looking to add another ski to my quiver this year, I currently have some super fat powder skis, and park skis. Also just bought some 189 surface outsiders purely because they were a crazy good deal, ive skiied them before in 179 and love them, but not really what i was looking for. But it does allow me to go for a more soft buttery ski since the outsiders are a stiff chargy ski.
i'm thinking something around 105-115 to use as an all mountain jib ski, buttering all over the place, popping off everything, all mountain park style stuff. I want a looser more slashy, surfey feel rather than that hooked up strong edge hold feel. which usually means less or no camber underfoot, more rocker. will see hardpack days but will also use them for powder days where i dont feel like using my super fat skis. and for that reason i'd like something that can handle some big drops, and have the length to not get tip dive in deep stuff.
So far ive thought of the moment deathwish in 190, Kartel 106 in 190, shredditor 112, fat-ypus m5 or driddum, kitten factory lazerblades, icelantic nomad rkr, and maybe the pettitor since they have flat camber and big rocker, and similar to hellbents which were awesome.
I'm 5'10 155-165lbs, pretty strong skier for my weight.
any thoughts?
