So last year I bought the Atomic Infamous and they are pretty good but the durability is absolute shit. I need new whips for this year that don't cost over $550 and was wondering how durable/ how good the Ar7's have been in the past few years
I got the 2013 Ar7s and rode them last all last year nearly everyday. They held up fine and I am using them again this year. I really really liked them. They started out pretty stiff but a little ways into the season they become buttery and I could nose and tail press with ease. I would recommend them they didnt have any problems under my feet.
I've never skied an armada ski but I've heard a ton of good things about there durability I'm picking up a pair of thalls for next season and I'm stoked!
I live in MN and we have rail parks for days. Know 3 ppl withy hem going onto year 3 and 2 and they are holding up great. I'm talking 300 hot laps a day on 300ft hills with basically rails everywhere. So much abuse on so many rails and they are still holding up great
Love my AR7's. Edges and base are excellent durability, on my last pair I put 150+ days of park abuse on them and the only damage they have is two cracked edges underfoot and top sheet chips. Still skiable in park even after so much abuse.
i have the 2015 AR7's and i love them the durability is great i think i had 50 days on hill doing mainly rails and 30 urban days and i have no edge cracks and only one core shot that was small and i just petexed in i would for sure recommend
