it Seems a little too perfect, the inrun, and the perfect down hill landing and all you need is a new jump. If geoppor doesn't send it I might Have to come up next summer and do it.

savvy_skisnowflex games are canceled due to budget cuts :(
there's no way....speed is a major issue there
Mr.BishopWhat if you went far skiers right, and instead of trying to go over the building, you just tried to clear that part of the deck / stairs, etc?
I'd imagine this is slower than you'd think too.... so a winch and/or ATV tow-in likely necessary.
Someone call Crazy Karl.
-RobertAfter analyzing the picture, I 100% agree and think this is possible.
I feel there is history in the making!
Mr.BishopWe just had a probe pass pluto and get high-res images.
If there is a will, there is a way.
captain_whaleWhat if we attach big air Dave to a satellite with a detatchable harness slingshot him around the moon and when he enters the atmosphere he can detatchable from his satellite and if it's timed right he can land on the snowflex and hit the jump. That would solve the speed issue anyways
Mr.BishopWe just need to convince the nipwitz guys to bring their winch, convince Crazy Karl to do it, and get redbull to build the infrastructure.
-RobertJust make sure not to ask the guy who towed Dumont into his death back in 2005.
tomPietrowskiThere are going to be some melted bases up there. There is a ton of friction on snow flex so even with a winch it would be super hard to get speed, it would probably actually just pull you off your feet.
Now a ski with like a shiny metal base like an old school tray sled that could be interesting. I bet you could go crazy fast on a setup like that. Get some soap and water on the in run and maybe.
Mr.BishopSo what you're saying is that for this stunt to properly work, we need to import snow and cover the snowflex?
Genius.
theabortionatorIf you build a huge scaffold jump, covered the snowflex in a strip of snow, salted the piss out of it, build a scaffold landing that either is on it's own or ties into the existing slop midway down, covered that with snow, it might be doable.
If you misjudged the speed it would go pretty south though. Like even farther south than VA already is.
I feel like it would end up looking more like a motorcycle setup covered in snow than a ski jump, but would be fucking crazy.
I'll throw in a buck or two
NotGhoodsuper low trajectory? mad nosetaps on the apex of the roof
Mr.noodleThis got me thinking about a up down or rainbow rail going over the roof
