CampeadorThe odds of Assad using chemical weapons are close to zero. He's winning, and deploying weak Sarin gas confers on him zero strategic advantages, it only endangers his position.
Seems like another false-flag attack staged by the "moderate" rebels (and some say the Soros-funded White Helmets). Conducting another staged chemical attack makes perfect sense, if they're losing and trying to frame the Syrian government.
That Trump is being deceived by this globalist / neocon ploy for intervention in Syria by blaming the Syrian government is very concerning.
I agree, it was also markedly irrational for the U.S and especially Israel to claim it was Assad 15 hours and and some no less than a half hour after the 'alleged' sarin gas attack. Remember, the Saudi's, Turkey and the US tried to play along with the framing of Assad in 2013 after the Sarin gas attack that killed 1000's. The rebels, many of which are aligned with terrorist groups including Da'esh and Al Nusra front were likely the ones who orchestrated the attack. As stated by Carla Del Ponte UN weapons inspector. She stated there was no evidence that Assad launched any chemical weapons whatsoever.
YET, this didn't stop the US from claiming Assad broke the 'red line,' using it as the ostensible pretext for boots on the ground in Syria. So, the very rebels we train and arm most likely launched the chemical weapons according to the UN probe in 2013. THOUSANDS dead; women and children and the US lied about it and then ignored it when the evidence did not fit their geopolitical goals, continuing to funnel weapons to these terrorists covertly with help from their proxies including Saudi Arabia. This alone illustrates that the US cares little about humanitarianism.
Research the geopolitical agendas in Syria. It is an energy proxy war with counterpose pipelines. Assad refused to sign the Saudi-Turkey LNG pipeline deal and instead made a deal with Iraq, Iran and China to build a LNG pipeline. Soon after the civil war started, of course sectarian strife was a reason for the prolonging of the war the real reason however was the intentional destabilization campaign to pigeon hold Assad and his army.
Also, either Assad is a daft idiot or these attacks are not as we are told. Motives tell me it was staged as was likely the 2013 Sarin gas attacks. Speculation doesn't tell us anything. An independent probe will tell us the truth. The quick blame before the probe illustrates something terribly wrong with what the US media is saying. And so then we Bomb this airport, which does not help fight terrorism. Plus, most Assad's enemies are jihadists who'd love nothing more than to impose sharia law.
It's a good thing most Americans are looking at this more objectively. I know Assad is a dictator but no far worse than the Saudis or the Qatar dictatorship who we support and export arms to.
Syria is in fact a sovereign nation, the US is breaking international law. The majority of Syrians support Assad. It was a democratically elected government and had a few opposition parties. Assad is the most secular leader in the region and has done some amazingly progression things.
+ "There's a minister reconciliation who's offered amnesty to Syrian opposition. 20,000 HAVE TAKEN UP THE OFFER, this is very progressive. I'm NOT a Assad supporter, he's corrupt, yes but people over in SYRIA understand what's at stake here. WE KNOW that ISIS taking over the function of Syria at a time when Assad had them at the edge of a cliff will destroy Syria and it's people just as the Saudi's and US proxies did by funneling weapons to some legitimate opposition forces as well as many Al Qaeda affiliated groups that would behead families for having different religious beliefs."
