californiagrownBut for real, that mentality of rejoicing in other americans' grief or misfortune and treating them as the enemy is what is tearing the country apart.
Empathy and concern for the well being of other americans should be a patriots overriding emotions.
It's possible to be a kind person and want to help others you disagree with, while still having a boilerplate resolve in your own morals.
Sorry, but many of these Americans I consider to be part of what I call the the 5th Column of the United States.
Anti-First Amendment, Anti-Second Amendment, pro-Islam, anti-police, anti-military, pro-illegal immigration.
I will rejoice when these people are in grief, and I will rejoice at their misfortune, because it means that their causes are failing.
People who would take away my right to be armed, while promoting the importation of millions of muslims from Sharia countries, have no concern for my well-being, therefore I have none for theirs (beyond their rights to life, liberty, and property). Their emotional well-being means nothing to me.
Now I realize this doesn't capture the whole picture, but those issues have become a significant part of the Left's overall platform.
