CampeadorAmendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Yes, yes, I know, you'll probably give the piss-poor example of yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater.
I realize that private organizations can have their own rules that govern free speech in the workplace. All the same, it's obvious that the social justice lunatics are trying to severely limit free speech by threatening a person's livelihood. This is wrong, especially when the free speech being practiced is completely unrelated to the person's job, it's a regressive leftist intimidation tactic.
I know the lunatics try and claim that speech they disagree with or find "offensive" is a form of harassment. Hence the creation of bullshit "safe spaces" and the like, I'm sure there's one for you around somewhere.
1. Everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference.
2. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression; this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form of art, or through any other media of his choice.
3. The exercise of the rights provided for in paragraph 2 of this article carries with it special duties and responsibilities. It may therefore be subject to certain restrictions, but these shall only be such as are provided by law and are necessary:
(a) For respect of the rights or reputations of others;
(b) For the protection of national security or of public order (ordre public), or of public health or morals.
This comes straight from the International Covenant on Civil and Political rights, by the UN. Now as you can see, other countries including the US wrote this and agreed that these are fundamental rights for civil and political protection. But as you can see they recognise that sometimes freedom of speech isn't freedom of speech and you can in fact be indicted.
For example, if you wish to incite a fight or breach the peace, that is not freedom of speech. Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire (1942) and you can be trialed for it.
There are many other examples of how not free freedom of speech is, but I can't be fucked to list them all. Isn't it ironic that you're calling people out on freedom of speech and yet the people you're calling out are just using their freedom of speech?? Just seems like one big shit storm of a cycle where everyone doesn't want the other person using freedom of speech.
