you made a great choice. the icons are really nice boots: the buckles adjust all over the place, making the perfect tightness just a turn away. they can be set up all kinds of ways, with the canting, arch adjustment, and the height adjustment on the back. i put the h\eight as low as possible on mine, and took the little plastic sliders in the cuff of the shell(take the liner out to find them) to make the boots more flexable. the original insoles are junk, get some aftermarket ones(sole, superfeet, surefoot, something), adn the only other thing is that a couple bolts on mine came loose, which can be fixed with an alen key. sick boots

i'd still never touch salomon bindings with a 30 foot pole. they pre-release like its their job to.-lanks

I just got them early this season skied them about 15 times and im lovin for all the reasons he said above. The canting works great. And at first they felt weird but u have to play with the buckles cuz the adjust 900 different ways to make them so comfy!!




Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

word i have a pair of icon's from 3 seasons ago they are siiic. as mentioaned above i replaced the insoles with a pair of superfeet.
My next pair of boots are going to be another pair of Icon's without a doubt.

My Icon DMs-Maybe?are the best boot ive ever owned..but if you have a wide foot forget about it..medium-skiiny foot will fit perfectly

ya they dont make the icon any more. they completly revamped the boot and it is now the diablo line

i just realized how light of a boot they are
