The definition of extremists is "A person who advocates or resorts to measures beyond the norm, especially in politics."

Things beyond the norm:
Giving Iran the nuclear bomb, beyond the norm.
Gay marriage, beyond the norm. Allowing Illegal immigration, beyond the norm. Apologizing for saying "all I was matter, beyond the norm."
Selling of fetus organs, beyond the norm.
A $15 minimum wage, beyond the norm.
Support in a socialist candidate, beyond the norm.
Having our 1st Amendment rights infringed upon, beyond the norm.
A new Cold War, beyond the modern norm. Restriction of Christian beliefs in the United States of America, beyond the norm.
Calling people racist for saying that the United States of America is at war with islamic extremism, beyond the norm.

The defenotion of a norm is, "something thing that is usual, typical, or standard." The first five norms I've I listed all changed just in this last month. All these norms can be traced back to being something topical, usual, or standard throughout the course of the last 100 years here in America.

You might feel like you're "fundamentally changing America." But the ONE norm you extremists can never touch is the one thing that's keeping you from controlling everything. The right to bear arms.

Being progressive, means You want to progress from the norm. It doesn't make sense and goes against the definitions of the word extremism when you progressives along with your president are always saying the talking about conservative extremism. If you actually knew the definition on the words you're using then you see that conservatism by definition is the complete opposite of the definition of extremist. Conservatism tries to conserve the social norm. That's why the word has conserve in it, and not extreme.

It's a change in the norm from what it used to be there's no denying that. Basically what I'm trying to say is that conservatives are f****** over progresses today. If we don't want to legal immigrants in this country where racist, if we don't believe in gay marriage we're bigots, if we say all live matter then we're forced to apologize for it. If we say that we demand you stop giving money to these black freeloaders that are littering our nation then we're racist. That we have to feel privileged if we're white. I've honestly never felt more discriminated upon in my entire life. Our government has made it so that the white male is the least deserving of everything. I'm tired of placing emphasis on minorities and gays. For crying out loud, we are funding an organization and Planned Parenthood with billions of dollars and they are deliberately silly human fetuses for a profit. Beyond the fact that its one of the most f***** up things I've ever heard of, Planned Parenthood legally isn't allowed to sell jack s*** because they're a non-profit organization. But since the last doesn't hold their own accountable whatsoever for when they break the law, nothing will happen. If they won't nake it happen, then we will. Whether you believe it or not, but shits going to get f***** up.

Im not super sure about the "selling" of fetus since i have not looked into it further than that youtube video and the news. have you researched this further?

Any of what you say is actually happening because I'm almost positive planned parent hood doesn't sell fetuses and we actually signed an agreement with Iran that forces them to dispose of all the uranium that could be used in any warheads or plants that create it

You are the one who clearly doesn't understand the words you are using.

For starters, in your OP, this is what your definition actually says: extremism is the action in response to another action that goes beyond the accepted level of response.

Most of the things you list are not responses to an action. They are actions themselves with which you disagree (which is fine, you are just mistaken in referring to them "extremism").

Secondly, you can have an extreme conservatism. If a conservative's response to a situation goes beyond the accepted level of response, it can be considered extreme. For example, there are many militant Islamists that do not want things to change and are fighting to preserve a certain way of life. They would be considered extreme conservationists.

Furthermore, just because it is the norm to do something it does not follow that the norm is morally correct.

It was the norm in the Confederate South to own another human being. Just because it was the norm, it does not follow that owning a human being is morally correct.

It was also the norm in Nazi Germany to persecute Jews. I think you see where I am going with this.

Norms don't tell you what is right and wrong, they simply tell you what that culture has accepted. If that culture is morally corrupt, then so are their norms.

Reacting against those established norms does not immediately constitute "extremism" as you claim it does. Extremism deals with the excessive level of response to a situation, and can therefore be done by all positions within the spectrum.

3. Allowing Illegal immigration? Before the last 10-15 years, we just called it Immigration... As for amnesty... what do you think we should do? round up the mexicans Red Dawn style, build a giant slide and dump them into Mexicali and Juarez? lol...

4. Fetus organ selling? What the fuck? please link me to this onion article lol...

5. back when 5.25 was the federal minimum wage, adjusted for inflation, in the 60's, that would be over 10$ nationally... 15$ for NYC? that's not that much with how expensive cost of living is.

6. Supporting a socialist candidate? FDR was elected 4 times... sooo

7. First amendment rights are infringed upon constantly buddy haha. That's SUPER normal.

8. New cold war? Between who? Us and China? us and Russia? Neither of those ever really ended in reality...

Let me put it this way, OP. If everyone in the country was as conservative as you, our country would have gone down the shitter years and years ago.

BUT. At the same time, if everyone in this country was as liberal as you are conservative, our country would have gone down the shitter years and years ago.

The reason why we have the two sides is because most every issue can be viewed from two sides. The liberal will say "hey, this isn't right. It needs changing!" The conservative will say "Now hold up, changing this will change a lot. I don't want that." Or, "No, it's perfectly fine the way it is now." Or it can even be the other way around if the conservative feels something is too liberal.

IDEALLY, it will all balance out and the country will be the best it can. It's not perfect and never will be, so people will always want things to change.

Obviously it isn't easy and generally isn't a way to be 100% positive that change is better or worse (or what the change should be), so clearly it gets really messy.

That video was taken out of context. The 10 to 15 dollar mark was a cost for transporting foetuses. Not selling them. Anyways foetuses are used in a lot of research and help a lot of people.

Which is also correct, I just doubt she knows much historical fact concerning anything. In my experience, many people think Jesus was a Christian and I would bet dollars to donuts that this bag of crazy does too.

That's because Christianity wasn't invented untill the day after Jesus died..... everybody was Jewish then Jesus came along then Jesus was killed. Some people believe he was the son of God (Christians) others people didn't believe it (jews) because it had something to do with a curtain not being ripped. Jesus couldn't be Christian because Christianity was invented until he died.

Whatever the case may be, many Jews used to take credit for his execution. Maimonides was a proponent for this view and certain high standing Jewish leaders and philosophers claimed that Jesus's punishment after death was to be boiled in excrement for all eternity. It made it easier for the Catholic church to oppress jews. This view is pretty rare amoung todays jews and only exists in certain ortodox communities.

You guys clearly are out of touch with the fundamental transformation going on in this country. You guys think that these new fundamentals are the result of some pure natural progression away from the old norms. That America society collectively came to a conscious consensus that being progressive and politically correct is the new norm. That's not the case though, this is all the result of a strategically manufactured plan surrounding immigration by progressives that started in the late 1950's. They knew that it would be impossible for their ideas to become a reality in America if they didn't do something to change the demographic of the American population at the time. They knew that that the majority of the American population wouldn't support their ideology so they had to do something about it if they wanted it to come into fruition. The fact that the Democrat party hasn't won the majority of the white populations vote, both men and women, in a presidential election since 1964 supports this. Therefore they decided to expose America's policy on immigration and use it as a tool to change the demographics in this country.

This is why immigration has with out a doubt the most important issue in America since the 1960's. It is the ONLY reason why progressives even have a voice today. If it weren't for the influx of immigrants in this country over the past 30 years than the last Democrat president would have been Lyndon B. Johnson. The existence of Liberalism as a dominant ideology in this country SOLELY relies on the sanctuary, the welfare, and the amnesty given to these illegal immigrants and their children. You can deny that all you want to make yourselves feel better, but it's a 100% fact that the fruition of your ideology would have never happened if it weren't for the illegal immigrants in this country.
