Ever see someone with a gun in store and want to kick thier ass..

A little background here Ive been seeing way to many people in super markets/ public areas walking around with guns on them. It makes me and the people I have overheard/spoke to really un fucking easy that they can shop and walk around with a gun.

Just to prove the point that them walking around with a weapon cant really protect them. I just want to walk up to one of them and kick their pussy fucking asses, because a real man doesnt need to hide behind a weapon. They are more likely to pull that gun out in unnecessary situations just because they have it thus raising the bar for any little dispute that they are having. So why not kick their fucking ass and walk away asking hope you felt safe with your little gun on you. But if i was to do so I would go to jail a whole lot longer than the guy with the gun for killing someone for no reason.

I get it they watch fox news and see all the shooting because the gun laws in America are a fucking joke. "Gun laws lol" says the NRA. So they think walking around with a gun makes them safer. When in reality if someone was going to attack wouldn't they take out the jackass with the 9mm on his hip first.

You sure? does it vary by state? I was pretty sure you gained your right of open carry at 18, although it would make sense to have it be 21 to keep guns out of high schools.

I'm very pro gun and very concealed carry. And in principle I don't have a problem with open carry, but I have noticed a trend where usually anyone carrying open, is a douche trying to make a point or stir up trouble.

XtRemE11around here I see people open carry all the time, especially when you get a little further out of town, and nobody thinks twice about it. guns are a tool/every day item to these people. if you have a problem with people like that, you're just an intolerant close-minded fuck.
now, if it was one of those guys doing it to make another youtube video trying to get a reaction so they can show the cops how well they know the law, then yes, i find those people annoying. but to be angry to the point of wanting to hurt them for it? dafuq?

I should be able to walk arundel shirtless in stores and show off my guns pretty much the same idea and reason to open carry.

Yes it varies by state but you are A OK in Maine at 18 to concealed carry. Idk if there is an age difference (and doubt it) for open carry.

Yeah that's what I thought. I was almost positive it was 18. Yeah I am pretty excited about concealed Carry being voted through. In today's Times you just never know.

when people say "its for self defense, what if someone shoots up the grocery store and I shoot him and save the day!" I really don't get it you wouldn't be in that situation in the first place if gun laws were different... Im from Canada and I live on the farm the only time I see guns is hunting, shooting trap (clay pigeons) and at Cabelas...

Why did it make you feel uncomfortable? It is just a gun.

It is not just for a 5 minute stop, that guy in all likeliness carries a gun with him 100% of the time. There are a lot of reasons why people would carry a gun on them.

Wow, great use of the police force. You wouldn't be wasting their time at all. I definitely agree, they should be exploited to intercept someone who isn't a threat when they could be stopping real criminals.

Because the vast, vast majority of people are emotionally ruled, mental fucking midgets.

I want to be able to immediately spot a threat to my life, and when i see some shithead looking character with a gun know he is up to no good and eliminate that threat from my life as quickly as possible. I dont want to have that immediate threat to my life hovering around me and visually making me keep my hackles up and consider that a "normal" way to live.

those people are a legitimate threat to shoot up what ever store/place they just entered.

How is that not a good use of the police? i identified a mass murder threat and tried to do something about it.


I saw a sketchy looking guy with a gun walk into a walmart. how do you not immediatley call the cops? How does the guy who watched the LA theater shooter walk into a theater with a gun feel? probly not great, even though he was "supporting open carry".


well guess what. that mentality will allow more mass shootings to happen, and more people too be killed because no one has the fucking balls to warn them.

I think any reasonable person is right to be slightly alarmed when an individual (whom you know nothing about, including their ideas concerning human dignity, autonomy, and value of human life) walks into a normal place of business carrying a dangerous weapon (of any sort).

Legality aside, if I was at a Dunkin Donuts and 4 people walked in, each carrying their favorite ninja turtle's weapon, and then a 5th guy walks in with a gun, I wouldn't feel any different towards any of them- they are all carrying weapons, and I would be slightly worried.

People carrying weapons in civil society should make citizens feel uneasy because (while it may very well be their constitutional right to carry them) their intentions are unknown. And as the weapons's potential for inflicting damage increases, so does people's unease. This is why people get alarmed around strangers carrying guns and they should have every right to be alarmed.

This is further intensified due to the common notion (not necessarily correct on, but one that is held) that the general run of people are guided by emotional reaction rather than calm reason. And when this permeates the thought of the majority of people, adding guns to the matter doesn't put anyone at ease. And if it does, you are either way too trusting of common people or know something about them that allows you to be trusting of them. While some people believe that owning a gun implies that one possesses the proper way one should own a gun, it simply does not necessarily follow. There is no direct link and to always assume that is dangerous.

Yup that map does prove your point you were correct and I can see a truck driver taking the risk for a few hours if passing through in a state that doesn't overlap to protect themselves.
