Did a naked backflip this winter, Jon Olsson was there, dropped in right before him so his filmcrew filmed it. Talked to the crew and gave them permission to use it haha.

I made a bet with a friend, he would jump the biggest jump with snowboard if I did a naked backflip.
I did think about it all summer tho, even before the bet. I made it, and like 20 persons were watching but fuck it! Do it!

Whenever I ski shirtless I notice that I take bigger than normal. I think it's cause you're more aero-dynamic. Now add even more speed from aero dynamic waist down and then that might answer your question as to why no one lands shit naked

yea pretty much everything naked you go way bigger. I mean look at Teddy Berr's front flip, or that dude who poached the JOI jump, or that asian dude in the thong. All knew the right speed WITH ski gear. Then without and you just go way more massive than you'd expect.

Fun fact, the guy who jumped JOI naked, it was his first hit. He didn't know the speed since he couldn't speedcheck with anyone. Though he knew were everyone else dropped in.

I have not done it before, but I can tell you why a lot of people crash: Wind Resistance.
From a former racer who has worn skin suits you have absolutely no idea how much faster you're going to go. So when someone strips off all that baggy clothing they cut through the air like a knife. You'll regularly notice that the crash involved in naked / semi-naked contains a significant amount of overshoot/over-rotate.

skiing naked is fun, but like Bishop said, you're less aware of speed if you're not familiar with skiing in skin tight clothing.
