Electric longboards

these have been around almost as long as skateboarding itself

I've done some research for you OP and you can get one of these for around the same price or cheaper with government assistance. much more reliable and you can drive them in the rain

Grow a pair and actually do the sport. Don't be the lazy ass guy who rides the 90$ setup off Amazon and calls himself a pro and talk down to people. I mean Damn dude. You don't even know the guy and by him saying that it's "obvious" that he hasn't ridden one. I think it's pretty darn stupid because one, you could buy a couple perfomance setups for that price point and two ITS PART OF THE FUCKING SPORT YOU COCK.

Didn't read thread. All I need to tell you about electric longboards is that you can fucking do like Mach 3 flat out. Sell your car because they're nothing compared to how fuckin nifty these things are.

Buy a helmet and some slide gloves, and learn how to slide. Then you won't be that douchebag going Mach potato down a hill that you have no business being on. It gives the sport a bad name! and you look like a tool. Also, why the fuck would you take all the fun out of longboarding with an engine? Like said above, pumping and Sliding corners etc is the best part.

I'm building my own custom Esk8. Hand carved, painted by hand, and a custom wiring configuration. All this with the expectation to go 25mph on flat and 10+ up hills. Fuck the haters.

I think they look like fun. Not a substitute for longboarding, but I mean you can't push and go 25 mph on flat ground... I think they have their place. They look really fun

they look incredibly fun. check out casey neistat videos apparently it's a better mode of transportation than riding a bicycle. Quite a bit of moolah tho

Electric versions of stuff like this ticks me off. Going out, pushing and cruising is half the fun! Rode around all day yesterday, woke up with a majorly sore calf muscle this morning and a ton of satisfaction
