Beast 16 toe piece

So I have a slight problem with my beasts found it this morning going for a hike. When I press the lever down on the toe piece the pins move out normally but when I move the lever on the centre where you place your front of the boot to engage the pins onto the boot there is no connection and I have to use a flat head screw driver to pop the lifter that drives that level into the normal position for the bindings to engage onto the boot. Anyone else had similar problems with the toe piece? the toe piece still locks out on touring mode and when you want to release from the binding all is normal. They have had about 10 days of touring on them, more of a hassle having to get a screw driver in their to pop an internal component up. Will strip them apart and have a closer look
