mirozI am open to the idea of a higher being, however, we cannot know that one exists and so I currently do not believe in one. That movie Interstellar was really interesting, though - what if there is life that exists in dimensions above ours? It's not god-like, because it doesn't love humans, but it would certainly be a "higher power," ya?
When we die, we sleep for the last time with no dreams. We turn to dirt and that's it. If you choose to be buried, you might be lucky someday that the energy that was contained in the molecular bonds of your body might contribute to the growth of another living thing. If you are cremated, your ashes may help fertilize something or serve some purpose. Thus the circle of life continues. Conservation of energy says that it is neither created nor destroyed...
The best hypothetical idea I've heard put forth about where we are in the universe and why the Big Bang is the ultimate singularity is that our reality exists within the black hole of another universe. The boundary of our universe is the event horizon of that black hole. The Big Bang was its formation.
There might be 11 dimensions. So maybe the idea of spirits and demons are inter dimensional beings or they are us already chosen certain paths in other parallel universes that have led to our deaths in those realities. idk.
I'm intelligent, because I know one thing and that is that I know nothing.
