Brule.Let us know what went down when it happens
Brule.Let us know what went down when it happens
Jon_TafferWill do. I'm just mad at the long hair discrimination and how they can pull a pass with absolutely no evidence
Brule. What a prick. Was the manager the one who pulled your passes?
Jon_TafferAnd id recommend not being a prick for once
eheathI wasn't I'm just saying going in is the way to go vs having them talking to you on the phone. Youre acting like you have zero options but you just need to go in and demand you talk to someone in a respectful way. If you stay calm and professional with them they will listen. It sounds like they currently have a bad image of you so like i said go in and show that you're not some degenerate and they'll help you out. If you're telling the truth you should be good to go.
Jon_TafferWhen did I say I Had zero options? Like I said before I'm gonna go in early tomorrow to try and figure this out. I'm just kinda venting rn super mad at this whole situation even when I was polite in person and on the phone
eheathYou making this thread gave off that vibe.
I think you'll be okay, ive had situations where my friends/me got called out by ticket checkers at PC and we had a huge issue until the mountain manager got involved and he was super legit, he basically told all of the mid level management to fuck off and that we were go to go. Just get some higher management involved and you'll be okay, those lower level ticket/office people are usually cunts.

californiagrownyou have a real way with people dontchya haha
You handled everything up to this point like an angry teenager so what could you really expect, right? if you honestly dont know how to handle the situation from here on out, then you dont deserve the pass back.
If you do decide to go HAM at the manager make sure your videotape it for Worldstar, NS, and the police!
haha, honestly cant you just picture this guy, the way he acted and what was going through the managers mind hahaha.
Jon_TafferLike I said earlier I showed nothing but respect towards the managers and employees. I posted this here to see if anyone else had similar experiences and also to vent, I'll admit I was mad when I made the thread and the reply towards eheath but the employees did not want to listen and I was mad that I payed over $400 to be wrongly accused and possibly not be able to ski for over half my trip
EvanMeyeryou can get a pass pulled for smoking on the lift? thats the most asinine thing i've ever heard.

californiagrownso you acted like a typical disingenuous, degenerate shit head. That's in the past. the only question now is how good are your people and sales skills?
Dont be a disingenuous, degenerate shithead and see where that takes you! At least that should be a start!
Again, if you do pull some white-boy hood shit on that honky manager make sure to film it all!

eheathI mean it's a rule... Especially in the summer when fire danger is a big issue. They run sprinklers under the lifts just in case some jackass does break the rules and tosses a butt.
Download-My-AppsThis is the first I've heard of it being done at Whistler. Probably because of the forest fires going on everywhere in BC.

Jon_TafferSo I'm in Whis until the 14th, hopefully was gonna ride the glacier everyday, but, this morning on the first chairlift up, we get stopped (group of 3) and the guy at the top asked for our passes. we had no idea what was going on. so he tells us that there was someone that saw us smoking on the lift and gave us a fire safety talk when we DIDNT SMOKE AT ALL. So now I can't ride. we spoke with guest services who said we would get a call. When this guy calls us, he was being rude about everything, won't listen at all to what we're saying and basically telling us were lying. He then proceeds to say "you guys are unique with your long hair" (I'm the only one in he group with long hair) and hung up. anyone else ever get passes pulled for no reason?
shin-bangAny news on the pass op?
californiagrownThis thread is about whistler. Whistler is Australian.
kylemcleanI really hope you weren't serious about this
.Hugo.Ya i bet youre telling us every detail exactly how it happened. Youre were probably acting like a jackass disrespectful teenager. Respect gets respecy, period. If you were being respectful to the manager he would not have hung up on you. Quit smoking, get a haircut and get a real job. Clean your act up and dont be a slob
Jon_TafferActually i spent most of my day in the village yesterday trying to get this pass back, we got in contact with the 'witness' who confirmed it was not us smoking on the lift And ended up getting the pass back. So ya, I was telling every detail as it happened
skipoint0Tell him to stop talking over you and make him listen. tell him that you werent smoking, and just because you have long hair it doesnt mean you get into trouble or smoke. ask for your pass back, and if he doesnt give it to you, then you get really loud and start a fuss. dont forget to include the fact that your word is just as strong as the person who falsely reported you, so ask why the manager believes the other group of people and not you. file a discrimination report with local police if need be. i agree, it was totally unjust.
