turdbuffetso jealous. streamed every show. my homie said security was loose as hell and his friend snuck in and they didn't give a fuck. wish i would've gone.
It was hit or miss honestly HEard of people getting in for 20 bucks, at the same time it was tough to get near the venue without a ticket in most spots. They had a couple perimeter fences far out with security, and some cops stationed along. Also the last night they had cops checking tickets to even get through the first security, to walk up to the venue to go through the actual security and then get your ticket scanned.
There were a fuck ton of people. I got lucky that I made it in honestly. Thought I was going to get shut out the first night then a friend pulled me a pit on ticketbastard a half hour before show time. Then a friend wanted to buy a 3 day for 300 from somebody but only had 2 so asked if I'd buy 1 night so he could get it, and I took the 4th. On the 5th I got down to lot late and not only was everyone looking and scalpers out in full force but people were actually holding up $250/300 and offering that for tickets and not getting them. It was nuts. People were selling tickets for 700 and some of them at least were selling. I passed up a 300 early on cause I was like fuck that. Ended up realizing how dumb it would be to not go in over 100. Found a guy that had a $300. Only brought 260 to lot as I wasn't going to pay over 150. Tried to make a few calls to borrow $40, nobody answered. Dude's like times up and starts to walk away, trying to plead with him to sell me a ticket for too much lol. He won't do it, friend was like "just give it to him" repeat that a few times and finally he handed it to me and said have a good show. First ticket I ever bought for over face in around 500 shows. I figured if I'm going to ever do that, this was the show to do it.
That built up anxiety of "holy fuck I'm really not getting in" "Is this ticket real" plust the fact that it was really the end, as well as it being the last time the dead played etc. Ended up tearing up pretty hard when I got in the last day. I feel like I'm generally unable to cry but it was intense.
I was really hoping for a brokedown palace because I've never seen them play it and it's my favorite song but I guess they did it in SC. Thought that would have wrapped the show up well. Got a stella blue which was chilling.
One of those songs that always get's me

The energy was unreal though. In the lots, in the show, it was awesome.
100% worth it.
Just got back to NY. Got in for all 3 moe. shows, and all 3 dead shows, saw a ton of friends, and had a great weekend.
Didn't think I was going to be around for it, and also was kind of bummed about the way it was getting done, the ticket prices, etc. But glad I went.
