Final Cut Pro or Adobe premiere pro

I have always wondered for editing which would you choose final cut or adobe premiere which one is better for edits/short films etc.

They'll do the same things, but adobe premiere is leaps and bounds ahead of fcp. FCP works fine for just cutting and such as does premiere, but i have found premiere works much better with different video codecs, has faster export times, etc.

Premiere pro because it's cross platform, has dynamic linking, and has many more tools than fcp

The new adobe creative cloud is amazing, I would go with that
