I'll be cheering for the Saxo Tinkoff squad. It will be interesting to see how they work as a team having Alberto go for GC and Pete going for the points classification though. It would be insane if they got both though. Then I'll also be cheering for Ryder Hesjdal. He was putting in some mad work at the Giro to fight back to like 6th overall after having a huge time deficit, so I'd like to see him to well.
He killed it in the last week of the Giro, keeping up with Contador. I think he has a chance to really stick it to the GC guys in the first tough week on the cobbles and classics routes. STOKED. GO canada

I am torn between the Saxo Tinkoff squad and Sky. I really do like Froome.
It is a shame that Kittel was not ready to race, he is a machine on those sprints.
Right as I flicked the TV on Nibali had to get a flat changed right as he was in a breakaway group. He might be able to move back up with the rest of the vehicles but it will be pretty energy draining once he has to sprint back to catch the end of the group.
Epic last sprint, super fucking tight between Sagan and Greipel, with Greipel winning it. Fabian Cancellara just edged out Cavendish for third in that sprint and he'll be wearing yellow tomorrow.
CamembertYes, but he also didnt seem to have the speed.. otherwise he would have ended 2nd or 3rd..
The NBC commentators panned him for screwing over Martin by not pedaling the last little bit. Later in the interview with Martin it seemed like he felt the same way
The Manx Missile can only be fired well if he has Renshaw to slingshot him.. That's why he did so well in California sprints..
That said, I feel like Sagan is in top fucking form this year, and Tinkoff could actually take yellow AND green with Contador and Sagan.
I bet Alaphillipe will win best new rider or something. That dude's like 22 and already fucking kills it as a GC rider. I'm actually picking him as a potential darkhorse for the tour if he stays on point and retains backing from his team - which is very strong mind, you. He got 2nd in Liege-Bastonge-Liege, AND the Tour of CA GC (where he lost by, legitimately, the width of a friggin 23c tire to Peter Sagan - which is fucking insanely close) Dude is pretty damn solid for a young rider.
Sagan, crossing the line in 3rd... by a tire.. giving him the bonus timepoints to put him over Alaphillipe. Seriously fucking close.
What a crazy stage today. Probably the biggest crash I've seen in the tour. I wouldnt be surprised in Cancellara pulls out now.
Really stoked that Froome is now GC leader, thought he was going to take the stage today as well.

Any word on what his injury is? I hope he doesn't.
I really want to see Toni Martin get the GC for at least a day. The man is a workhorse.

He was getting attention to his back in the pictures I've seen and he was holding his back during the stop, but he did finish the stage so im not sure how serious it is...

Turns out he is out of the Tour now. Broke two vertebrae in his back.
Ten Dam is a human brick, how many crashes has he now just rode out of?

All of these finishes have been crazy exciting, absolutely love it when these sprint powerhouses are lined up duking it out. Can't wait to see the climbers go toe to toe here soon as well.

Climbing stages are my favorite, they just glide up those hills
.MASSHOLE.It looked like Tejay was just outclassed climbing
Yeah, Tejay and everybody else. But that's also not the kind of climb Tejay prefers, and he's still solidly in second, with I think two minutes on Contador, which is a great place for Tejay to be at this point in the race. Hopefully he can finish on the podium since it doesn't seem like anyone will get close to Froome, unless something strange happens and things change dramatically.
I never got to watch the race but yeah it looks like someone has been thanking Mr. Skeletal for good bones and calcium... I'll be honest I hope someone else can pull some time on him because I don't particularly like him or Sky. Froomey himself is pretty much a serviette that can pedal a bicycle; thin, white, and not very personable. There is no denying that he can pedal fast though.
