andeezymcdFirst off my summer is screwed in terms of summer skiing; I have to wear a sling for 3 weeks thanks to dislocating my shoulder, plus I'm moving. But anyway, what length of skis are best to practice with on the summer setup? I have Chronic 171s and some old beat up Afterbang 155s. Longer would be the exact same as what I ski with on snow, but shorter would be easier to handle and would fit through the transition easier. What length do you guys ski with on your setup?
RsimpsonUse your most old beat up skis because a summer setup really can take a toll on your skis.
iantheunderdogIf your planning on buying new skis then go with the line chronic. Dont trash your nice skis. Use the afterbangs if your not planning on getting new skis soon. Sorry about ur arm, try to stay active it helps take your mind off of not being able to ski.

jackdonovanfalse, my skis and friends skis are fine from 2-3 years of summer setup and mountain skiing, it just adds more base scratches but if you wax then your fine
