Critique our t-shirt design?

This is the t-shirt design we collectively agreed on:



The white will get printed on black, purple, orange, and green. It will most likely be printed in the same position as last years design(see below).

Any suggestions on how to make it better? Maybe different colored shirts or adjustments on the design/postion? Anything would be appreciated(:

The mountains in the letters don't grab me as being mountains. The space behind the chair I think should look more like its descending up with the lift. But overall it would look cool on a shirt. Maybe just do something with the solid border.

I think it is snow piles on the letters, atleast that is what i saw it as.

I think the shirt is cool. The font itself isnt amazing, but the shirt is forsure cool. 9/10

Yup! The font is called snow caps so I think that's what is intended. It's supposed to be appealing to an "average" skier. The snow font, while kind of cheesy, will *hopefully* do well to attract people.

I still don't know how 6 of us didn't notice that the chair appears to be descending... Trying to figure that out. Probably going to either bring the cable to the foreground so it looks like it is behind the skiers/the chair or have a front view of the chair. Not sure though. And true about the border. I was under the impression it wouldn't be printed but I should probably double check on that.

meh.

I dislike the font. I am guessing this is done in illustrator? I dont really like the cookie cutter style and the composition lacks continuity. I would recommend drawing->scanning the image->then tracing it in illustrator. I think it would be far more unique... if not then at least do that for the font or ignore my opinion all together
