there's tons of open source sound capture apps you can get. try googling it or check cnet.

yeah, there's tons of programs, look on www.download.com ...that is if you're set on ripping from the DVD. i would just go to the credits of the video and watch for the track listing. you can probably find all the info you need to just search on a limewire-type program and download the original, most likely cd quality version.

^ true, but just get the trial versions and then crack them. don't get the freeware shit unless you're sure about its cleanliness.

If you can't download any program just write down the name of the song and download it from the web (although some of them can be hard to download)

Roxio Sound Editor. It is sooooo easy. All my friends are listening to it in my car and hear people grinding and are like 'what the hell was that!'

I had this program, it worked prety good, except it captured audio by the chapter, so the song would skip, so i just took my video camera, and got a stereo cord with two 'Male' ends, then i pluged one into the mic input on my cam and one into the audio out put on my computer, then i recoreded the segment with the mic. Then i captured it on Video Editor, deleted the video track and exported it as a WAV, yes it takes a while, kaza's probably eaiser, but it worked, plus you get cool ski noises
