Replying to Getting your wisdom teeth out

so im having my wisdom teeth out, here in about 2 hours lol. the dentist place said i could eat food until 11 o clock (which is in 15 min) but all other google answers say not to eat 12 hours before the surgery.

so am i screwed cus i ate food?

and how long does the numb feeling in your mouth last?

i had two teeth pulled when i was a kid and my whole face and nose were numb for the rest of the day.

anything to help me get through this ns fam?

ill be eating lots ice cream and apple sauce :(
