And just saying mods follow the rules, i agree we should eliminate racial and homophobic slurs, not just on the internet but in our society. Peter.it's an internet forum. people will always make fun of the 'new members.' and if you can't deal with being called a noob in a few threads, then the internet just really isn't for you. NS used to be a great community where everyone went through that same 'hazing' (for lack of a better word) process and came out on the other side a contributing member of the community

SammyDubzThis. Everyone gets a trophy today. When my sister graduated from high school, there were these two twin brothers who would have been valedictorian and salutatorian. They gave a co-valedictorian award when their grades were obviously different. Wouldn't want to hurt their feelings or anything.


hah when I graduated 8th grade 6 years ago I got a bronze metal for having a low 60s avg. 90+ was gold, 80-90 was silver and everyone else got a bronze for passing the school you can't fail without your parent's consent

its true ive been here for about 6 years and saying racial or homophopic slurs always resulted in a ban

S.J.WBecause NS has an image they'd like to show the new user. I remember earlier this week on some super political forum some dude was like "damn I thought NS was a cool site now I see it's just a shitstorm" or something along the lines of that, and so he left. You'll eventually grow out of posting shit online and when that happens there will be no newer members to carry on NS and NS will die out.


I was gonna respond with something bashing this saying how new users are shitty and everything and then I realized it's true. Getting older sucks

This website is fine its just summer a fewer and far between time so it slows down (but most sports forums are quieter in the offseason) create a funny thread you'll get some replies.

I know most of the time id criticize trolls and unconstructive comments, but ffs NS has gone soft, not talking bout banning for saying nigg* although in an unracist context I don't get why anyone should be free to use that word. Im talking about the fun shit that use to be posted in any thread, it's a fine line between being offensively funny and being over the top offensive and hateful. TGR forums are even more "hardcore" nowadays... it's summer ffs, imo no thread and posts should be deleted in nsg, let the community decide what it wants ns to be. Deleting an overload of unhelpful posts in sg is fine, sg is more a place for learning and sharing than for getting a laugh. Freedom of speech people! Let the troll troll at least for summer
