Replying to Why do kids my age get all wrapped up in ""relationships""

Sup ns (so first off the age group were talking here is like 17-18), so after Twitter was raging about how this dude cheated on his girlfriend and all this relationship crap, I'm wondering now what's wrong with people .

Like I like women and all, but this generation is all wrapped around the axel about relationship goals and think everything is so great, until ya end up with an std or all of a sudden boom the chick is pregnant or something.

So what is it that makes kids want these relationships? Is it the media over romanticizing it all? When in reality it's not all that great and ya really should be focusing on school and skiing? Jah feel?
Someone help me understand kids these days.
