This ski town phenomenon you mention is the only reason you're alive. If it weren't for your dad being desperate in a ski town, he never would have even looked at your mom's beat face and saggy body.

When living in a ski town I am very proud of my ability to allow my standards to crash through the floor into the world of sheer allowance of nearly anything.
