So I'm going to Italy from July 1-14 with my family. We're going to be going to the dolomites and I have successfully convinced my ex ski bum dad to ski while we're out there. What are the best glaciers to ski in the dolomites and what do they offer? What places have the best terrain or a decent park? Thanks.
I went to the Dolomites in val badia last August. There won't be any glaciers. It's elevation is too low. I would just say focus on doing as much via ferratas as possible they are so much fun and nice for inexperienced climbers. Although it did snow once while I was doing a via ferrata and it was some black ops shit. Also check out the caves they built in World War One they are some of the coolest pieces of history in the world. For skiing you would have to go to zermatt or something. Have fun! I love the Dolomites
right up in the northwest on the boarder with switzerand is cervinia, there is a pretty decent glacier snowpark. I think prices are around 200euros for 6 days pass (just over $200).
