I'm kinda new to buying skis and so I was just wondering what a good set up was

You have to give us Info. Height,weight, skill level, skiing style, ect. I haven't tried many different kinds of skis but just letting you know.

I am 6ft, 200 lbs intermediate skil level and my skiing style is a little bit of everything.

You should buy skis that are 180 or above.

How do yu like your flex?
do you prefer rocker or camber?

need a bit more than that. Do you like charging or do you like playing around. Where do you ski? Do you prefer fatter skis or thinner skis. But anyways from the info you gave us I would recommend a ski that is about 180 cm tall, somewhere around 100 mm wide underfoot, and with a little bit of all mtn rocker. I would recommend something like a 182 cm Fat-ypus L-Toro but you may or may not want something stiffer than that.

I like playing around I ski in Alaska I prefer fat skis

Alright so yeah a ski between 100 and 120 mm with a somewhat soft flex will be perfect for you. Again Fat-ypus L-toro could be good for you unless you want something a little fatter

if you like doing everything than i would stay under 115-116 under foot. for an intermediate skir a sorter flexier ski is definitely a better option. i would advise looking into a Line SFB, a moment pb n j, or an icelantic nomad

ON3P Jeffery 114's or Kartel 106's might be a good fit. Get good bindings *cough cough* fks 140's maybe 160's given your weight. It's an expensive setup but you never really hear people say "Damn, I wish I would have bought shittier gear."

I'd love it if you could try our gear finder thing and post what suggestions it gives you. Its been getting a lot better as more people review product, so I'd love to get some feedback!
