I currently live on the east coast and I absolutely love skiing, its my absolute favorite thing to do. I am about 15 right now and may have the opportunity to move to Hawaii, Hawaii is dope too. I don't know what id rather do though stay where I can ski or move to Hawaii, or if id be able to get good at skiing again as I plan to move back to where I can ski after my childhood as if I move to Hawaii. What would you guys do move to Hawaii or stay where you can ski?

Those pics are dope obviously, and it looks amazing. But to me it looks like place to visit. I don't think I could ski there. I'd look on Facebook all winter and see people back home skiing, and I'd want it.

Hawaii is cool and all, in terms of the land and outdoor stuff to do, but damn the people are weird, i wouldnt want to live there just because of that.
I think living in Hawaii would be a really cool experience? I couldn't spend the rest of my life there, but if you truly are 15 and would just be doing high school there (and then maybe coming back to the continental US for college), that would be fucking rad. You might never have another opportunity to do something like that. What are the circumstances of the move?
If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't move because
1. Skiing is the only sport I was ever good at. (Aside from swimming for like a summer)
2. I know all my friends through skiing.
Wouldn't stay in Hawaii long, people usually leave because they feel trapped on the islands. Also if you would want to surf, Hawaiians don't usually like howlie outsiders.

I've spent a little time there and its exactly that, when the locals are amongst themselves they're awesome to be around but once theres a few more mainlanders they get all shitty and snappy about the earth and how we don't respect the islands.
