I had the K2 Iron Maiden ski, they sucked but I got lots of comments

anyone else think Metallica should just stop and let their memory and awesomeness live on? Rather than trying to re-live glory days of the 80s, and trying to make money off of anniversary editions and branded merchandise of a dying brand? You middle-aged millionaires can't do anything I can relate to artistically, please stahp trying to make money and just let the music live on.

Basically Metallica approached Armada (because apparently there are two members who enjoy skiing) and they jumped at the opportunity, therefore the collab.

In my opinion I think they look sick but I don't think it's worth $100 more for the Armada X Metallica JJ 2.0 than the normal JJ 2.0. The JJ 2.0's graphic are just as sick and have a lot more meaning behind them as well (the last design of the JJ with influence from JP Auclair.)

I think there are also a few more pieces that are collated with Metallica.. I think.

that's cool that some of Metallica likes skiing, makes sense.

on the other hand if I had a internationally known brand and business partners to get me collabs on any product I'd want, I'd probably do it too... I still think they're a bunch of middle-aged, out-of-touch millionaires... but they're probably still cool people.
