first up, its HYBRID camber. and to everybody who isnt really educated on ski construction and how things like this affect your skiing, ill explain this little concept.
ok, most skis are cambered from the tail to the tip. the purpose of camber is to preload the ski. if skis were flat, the would blow unless you were turning. and on park skis, it helps load pop for ollies. it keeps the tips on the snow, ect.
now, this hybrid camber is cambered from a few inches inches behind and in front of the tips. now what this does, is creates an effefctively shorter ski on hard snow, and in powder or crud, it gives you the full running length. its an intresting concept, and i would like to ski it before i post a factual opinion, but my 2 cents, before riding them, is this:
smaller skis suck everywhere. the only time they are nice is on rails, where they are more manuverable and lighter. now, this would give you the weight and dimensions of a big ski, and everything else of a smaller ski. all of the downsides, and none of the benifits. it obviously wont be a huge difference, as there will still be full effective edges ( in turns), but i think it is an attempt at a new concept to draw attention to them.
i looked on google but all i could find was 3D Animation porn-sxmarty6
