honestly there have been rumors for the past few years that the Jackets are going to get moved in the next 5 years (I've heard to Seattle)
Dang, i really hope that doesn't happen. I still think there is hope but it is a long shot and as a jackets fan hope is the only thing i have to hold on to at the moment.

Ghost is pretty much on fire here for the Flyers, too bad he is pretty much the only one. Looks like if we don't have a fantastic finish to the season we won't even make the playoffs. It's pretty close so I'm still holding out hope.

Honestly the NHL is a bit boring this year overall. What good storylines are there right now? The Panthers? I guess the Stamkos / Drouin thing in Tampa? Not much to choose from.

He built a team around THE best goal tender in the league, then that goal tender got injured. It could literally happen to any team. Pull up any team that is leading the league and injure their goalie for over 3 months and see what happens. He had rebuild his systems, find a proper replacement, and deal with management.

I've hated that muppet since day 1, I just knew they would never fire him if they were winning. He is finally exposed now that he doesn't have Carey Price posting career high numbers. His terrible system, ridiculous line up decisions and moronic ice time choices are now exposed for what they really are.

If this is the team MB has built over the last 4 years, one that relies on historical career setting goal tending then he has failed miserably as a GM. The fact that this team has struggled to score goals has been pinpointed to a few key things. The lack of top 6 wingers which MB has failed to address time and time again, Therrien's retarded deployment decisions and the absolute lack of accountability on this team. Remember when Daniel Carr was a revelation on the RW? Led the team in goals for the month of December when 3/4 of the forwards were doing their best casper impression? Sent down because that's how the Montreal Canadiens treat their young players. You work hard, score goals and out produce the vets? Get the fuck out of here Carr, back to St. Johns for you.

The rangers lost Henrik for a month, they had a winning record. Lets extend this to other players. I didnt see the pens or hawks collapsing at all when they lost kane and crosby.

He literally changed nothing while Bruce Boudreau revamped their entire system during the duck's slow start. That fucking clown had the balls to take credit for Galchenyuk's success at center when he should've been there last season. Too bad he's too busy making sure his precious son (DD) gets the best linemates and minutes possible despite being a 3C at best. The fact that it took an injury to his prodigal son to have Galchenyuk at center is puke worthy. His comments on Subban make my blood boil too.
Therrien is a terrible NHL coach, one that should have never been rehired. If MB doesn't suck it up and fire his best from from RDS (because we all know how good hiring your friends to run your hockey team works out), then he is going to fail as a GM and watch Pacioretty and Price walk after their contracts.

He better get some Hart consideration, because, of all players to their respective teams, he's the absolute most valuable player to his - and I do not say this as some homer - I say it because the rest of the team would be golfing earlier than the Canucks without him...
San Jose is still somewhat inconsistent (seriously, you can romp the Kings and the Caps, but you let Edmonton get 6 goals on you and you can't beat Vancouver on home ice??)
Also, I feel like last season absolutely killed the vibe for San Jose... Attendance has been garbage this year for a team that's been performing as well as they have. I don't blame fans for being frustrated from no cup, but this team is competing very well, and if Reimer or Jones get hot in the playoffs, a deep run could absolutely be a thing with how much of a tossup the NHL is these days in any given 7 game set. Even Chicago with all of their insanity (seriously? how the fuck do they pay for all of that) is entirely safe in a world where low seeds regularly upset.
Karlsson with 80 points. impressive. This might be the best season by any NHL d-man since the lockout. And I'm not just talking point-getting. He's just had a really impressive season, especially considering the rest of the team this year.
