Barefootin_Fiendsharp isn't going anywhere by the looks of things. they've been shopping him for two summers now and no one is biting. i'm sure part of it has to do with the fact that he has a funky no move clause as part of his contract, so maybe the teams that ARE interested aren't able to pony up for whatever reason.

At least at CTC you're not allowed to exit once you've entered. So no smoke breaks or fresh air or stretching your legs during intermission or anything like that. If you leave, you can't get back in.
Also metal detectors and such. I dunno how many stabbings or shootings there have been at NHL games in the past, but certainly none at CTC here in Ottawa.
They really are making every event feel like an airport. Bluesfest this year they make you empty out your pockets completely and turn them inside out, check under your shirt, search through your wallet, and I wasn't allowed in with a pen knife I keep with my bike repair kit.

VinnieFSemin for 1.1 seems like a great deal for Montreal. He still has potential to be a top 6 (despite sucking hard in Carolina) and even if he does end up not being great 1.1 million for 1 year isn't the end of the world.

VinnieFThere's no way that hit deserves 41 games. I guess they're trying to send a message. 41 games for a hit that in any regular season game would probably result in a charging minor and maybe a game or two suspension if there was an injury. Crazy.

MLBI live in Alberta and honestly I hope he fails for that exact reason. It is fucking nuts up here. People think he is the next coming of Christ. Literally people have told me that they think he is going to push the team to a cup run. A FUCKING CUP RUN!! Like the TV commercials and shit....it's worse then Toronto and Babs. I hope he becomes another Hall, Hopkins or Yakopov ( all great players....in like 10 years).
I have no idea when the Oilers are gonna get the hint to get some depth and a good goalie.
On a brighter note Montreal off to a great season. I'm gonna say it's all worthless until we face the Lightening. Stats are stats but they have our fucking number. Also we need to rely less on Price. What happens if he gets injured? The team just doesn't work.
MLBOhh for sure. Speaking of great rookies... Jack Eichel. Wow that dirty wrist shot. That guy is one of the best on his team.
Also I'm not really a huge Flames fan but living in Calgary I am pumped to go see some great hockey again at the dome. What Hartly has done with that team is just incredible.

RusticlesThe D has not been able to move the puck very well for about 8 years now. It's really been the root of the problem.
They're missing some d-men that can make decent outlet passes, it's getting a little better but for the most part its panic then bank it off the boards, need a duncan keith or brent seabrook.
