Transfer talk is well underway, so here's a new thread for the upcoming season.

With FFP being relaxed we can expect to see some big spending across the continent this summer. Apparently Juve want £80M for Pogba, who wants £250k a week.

Personally, I think Milner to Liverpool could be one of the underrated transfers for those "top" teams in the EPL. I think MCFC will miss him.

Arsenal need a keeper (Would love Lloris; and what a story that'd be haha), striker and another cdm. Then they can push for the title.

I'm hoping Liverpool can get City up to the 50m they want and offload Sterling. I'm not into the talk of sitting him on the bench for two years until his contract runs out and taking a tribunal fee.

Also really hoping these talks out of Italy of Kovacic leaving Inter for Liverpool are true. That would be a total game changer. Though the English press are saying it isn't happening.

I'm hoping Cech moves to Arsenal and stays in the EPL and Arsenal will have a real chance at the title. Also hoping that Charlie Austin will be brought back into the the prem league.

I've only applied for one because tbh I can't really afford to go but if I win I will anyway. 2 tickets for C1 vs C2 in Lille, €210.

high hopes this season, we kept most of our squad when we went down last season so most of the players have played at premier league level. We just need to strengthen are squad now. Nathan redmond is due an excellent season

Lmao Costa is happy as can be at Chelsea. There is no way Falcao is anything more than third choice, Costa will undisputedly be first choice striker.

Just because of how much it cost or because you don't want the player?

Sterling should give City the ability to run at and break down a defense at speed which they sorely missed at times last year. Dunno if he's worth the price, but only time will tell with that.

Because of how much he cost. £50m is a lot for an unproven player coming off a very mediocre season. He has the talent to be good value though.

Yeah, that's fair. If he does end up fulfilling that golden boy award winning potential, then he'll hopefully end up a good buy, but definitely see where you're coming from. Hard to know if his drop in form last season was due to Liverpool just not being that good, or Sterling just not being that good.

Hey, nobody's perfect. Besides, he's English, you can't really ask, or expect, an English player to be able to do more than one thing well.

Alternately I could see Villa taking the tumble over Bournemouth. Plays out similar to how Newcastle's season went last year, but lower when they fire Timmy.

swansea chelsea was a great game. after chelsea got the first goal id thought they would lock it down. glad they didnt, both teams had some good attacking play. chelsea look just as dangerous going forward. gonna be a fun season1

Yeah I totally thought Mourinho would hold on and grind out the draw but I'm glad he kept going for the 3 points. That was a horrible result for us though, good refereeing but shit defending from us. Ivanovic is a liability.

Wow arsenal looked like garbage. Same old shit. Alexis didn't look ready. Coquelin spraying balls all over the field. Same awful defending on set pieces. I've been against petr signing all along and this just proves it. Ospina deserved more of a chance to be number 1 this year.

On the other hand west ham played brilliantly away from home. Oxford had a hell of a game for a 16 year old at he emirates.

Cech will be okay. They did look awful though and West Ham looked amazing. Knew Payet would blossom in the PL, he's gonna have a big year. It can only get better from here. I'm still optimistic for the season!

He's great going forward but if you watch him routinely you can tell he cannot keep up with the pacy wingers. Time and time again other teams always attack our right side because that's the weakes part in the defense. Defensively he's been pretty bad recently.

Yeah, they've been really sloppy at the back, not even getting beaten, just giving up the ball easily in their own area and giving away easy goals. Don't know if it's all the travel from preseason or the fact that a lot of the team had extended holidays or what, but they gotta figure that out sooner rather than later.

Arsenal's inconsistency kills them every time. They have so much potential, and occasionally it's realised for a good 6 or 7 game streak and then they go back to mediocrity.


Also we were awesome today. It's great to see Kompany defending well again, and Mangala turning into a decent defender. It looks like that's gonna be a very strong CB pair this season. Kompany was shit in pre-season though, I think scoring has given him a ton of confidence at both ends and completely turned his form around.
