Replying to Tall t production hoodie VS orage stack

so I've been searching for a Large orage stack for about a month now and seems I've missed the boat on finding one. Just wondering if the tall t prod hoodies are comparable with being a bit more water resistant than just a standard cotton hoodie. Should I pull the trigger on the tall t or wait and see if orage comes out with another stack next year?

Or do you have a large stack in black or grey that you want to sell me?
