Questions about skiers?

I'm a skier and I rollerblade a little, my buddy was saying that he thinks that skiers only blade and boarders only skate. I don't think that their is a definite correlation. Although they are similar. Is this why peopla skate or blade? It's a pretty dumb question , just curious.
Hopefully I will be skiing the Big K in VT until January, and the other K in CA for the rest of the season.

I used to rollerblade hardcore 5 years ago, but 2 years ago when i started to get into freeskiing, i also started to do some of the old school skateboarding and i still love to ride pools and bowls when there is no snow. i know alot of people who do both rollerblading and skateboarding, people like different things, and i think thats cool.

that's like saying that i should waterski instead of wakeboard because im a skier.

however, i think there is a definate connection between rollerblading and skiing since they are very similar

i skate. well, not as much anymore, but i did for about a 2 years or so.

no offense man but rollerblading was cool in the 80's
