I just fucked with TSA

And it felt really good. Normally I am the last to seek conflict but they where slacking and I had time. Chris, would make you walk 40 ft, one at a time to check your pass against you ID on one side while the other side of security was cruising. So when I got to the desk he said how are you ,I said "annoyed by the innifeciancy of the way you guys have this set up, why do you have to have someone walk one at a time 40ft to the desk, how long does that take." I don't know" That shit adds up man that's why we have all been in Line for an hour." Oh yeah, well your name on your ID is Nicholas, and on your boarding pass it's Nick. I'm gonna need a supervisor to approve this. " Are you fucking serious I laughed. So I stood there for 10 minutes while this Guido piece of shit yells across the security checkpoint at SFO with 1000 other people for a supervisor to approve that Nicholas and Nick are the same thing. I told them all they where doing a shitty job, but when I left I remembered how I avoid conflict so I made sureto say. "GOOD JOB BUD, WAY TO PROTECT
America.
I'm pretty sure I called him a fucking prick too. So fuck that guy, 90% of the TSA is alright in my book but one thing. You can tell that fuck how much he sucks, how shit of a job they are doing etc. As much as you want as long as you don't make a threat:) they aren't cops. They aren't even security guards.I had the time so fuck it,and in the end it was worth it. In closing, Kareem Abdul Jabar is in the house and I'm slamming 13 dollar beers. Peace.

But seriously I agree with everything Ryano said and you people wonder why TSA is so strict ? September 11th 2001....
If this never happened it wouldn't be they way it is today with security

Also it is their JOBS to be that strict and when they are trained they are told to act this strict and as long as you aren't a complete duche like op or others, then they most likely won't give you a hard time

And you people are complaining that by putting a name that isn't on legal documents on your boarding pass that the TSA is wrong for double checking and making sure that it is not an impostor or anything ? Sorry they are protecting us so something like 9/11 doesnt happen again

Also other note, when i was in czech republic a few days ago i had to recite my whole life to this lady before she let me get to the boarding room. Same when i went to china, TSA is not bad at all compared to most other countries, get over yourself entitled white human.

Seriously though, if you don't respect people they won't respect you, simple as that. If I was that TSA agent and some nit-wit fuck boy started lipping off to me (about something that I have no control over) I would've done my best to slow him down as much as possible. Really, what did you expect? This is one of the busiest non-holiday flying times of the year, which leads to more rigorous security checkpoints, and people like you who just can't deal with shit, are one of the reasons it takes so goddamn long.

Crispy.I agree with ryano...though security lines can often be painful, they do a good job of preventing terrorism/crime. The TSA makes me feel much more secure when flying.

TSA are shit honestly. They don't need that many people working a security line and anyone that seriously wants to get something on a plane is going to. And one thing I never got, why would you go through the trouble in sneaking onto the plane with a bomb instead of just decimating the whole security line. More people plus you do structural damage more than likely.

The terrorist threat that the media likes to make people think is there just isn't honestly. It's just gives our government's more power and less accountability for anything unjust they do. All a cop has to do is proclaim you might be a terrorist and you are automatically stripped of all your rights until proven innocent. Which not to mention might take a very long time because they don't have to since you don't have any rights. That's just fucked up terrorist or not and just hurts more then it protects.

Not at all, domestic flights in Sweden are not even close to beeing that strict. International flights to and from other European countries are usually not that strict either.

i've been given the 3rd degree about where i was going and why, where i was coming from, etc in many european countries. in england my lady had to throw out the tiniest pair of scissors from her toiletry bag (which had been allowed through tsa checkpoints in the us). i almost wasn't allowed to change planes in beijing because i was 8 years younger in my passport photo and i now had a beard, i had to use my signature as proof i was the same person and it was ever-so-slightly different so they made me try again. so yes, other countries are just as much a pain in the ass when it comes to security.

TSA pre check/global entry are the way to go!
You still have to deal with an incompetent moron reading your ID and boarding pass but at least you don't have to wait in line and take your shoes off!

3 out of 4 times i've had to go through us security in the last month i got to use that system, you dont have to take anything out of your bags, just empty your pockets and walk through w/ shoes/belt/etc on. super easy, it will be great when this becomes the norm

even the new automated machines in customs really seem to improve re-entry process as well (at least was my experience in miami)

Is it because the doors get locked now and you have to have at least 2 people in the cockpit. Or maybe because there almost always are air marshals on board? And what is the point of bringing a bomb on a plane if you aren't going to blow it up?

i was flying out of pitkin county super small regional airport. (aspen) and i had some lint in my pocket. after i went through the scanner the lint came up on the screen (bullshit). I got most of it out and I went back through, per direction of the officer. I again didn't pass the screen test and had to receive a pat down. I cannot believe how bullshit these fucking line monkeys are. They are not officers of the law and are seriously the biggest joke besides bush going after the "WMD"s in iraq. its just a load of chicken shit

I did, Unlike the by the book line walking pussys in this thread I took it to that guy by putting Nick Instead of Nicholas on my flight info. So he had the shout across the room like a fool because he didn't have the power to put Nick/Nicholas together.

I've always had good luck with air port security. A smile and a pleasant greeting go a long way. people get crabby when they're traveling so think how much it must suck to be a TSA agent.

My only pet peeve with TSA is when they act like everyoneis supposed to know how the system works. I fly a handful of times each year and I feel like the process is different every time.

"do I wait on this side of the line before going through the metal detector or do I wait to be waived through?"

"Do I just shove my bag on the conveyor belt or does this agent want to push it through when I walk through the detector?"

"Do I really still need to take off my shoes?"

"Do I need to remove my belt?"

"Do I carry my passport with my boarding pass?"

Each airport has their own rules and changes them all the time. I feel some agents act like it's always been the same every where.

And you don't have the power to put your actual name on your boarding pass. If you can type out Nick while booking a flight, you can type of Nicholas. It's not that hard and will save you alot of hassle.

ryanoi fly between 20 to 40 roundtrip flights every year.. and I have yet to get stuck in security for an hour.. it usually takes me less then 15 minutes to check luggage, and get thru security. 25 minutes tops.

There are always two separate lines.. general passengers, then business select and TSA Pre Check. Those lines always go quicker.

You being a dick to the TSA Agent is just asking for them to be a dick back to you.

I frequently have pleasant "small talk" conversations with the agents, if you had to deal with pricks like you and inexperienced travelers who don't listen to a word you say all day every day, I'm sure that would put you in a bad mood too.

Yes, I get stopped all the time for a bag search, yes I get patted down every so often cuz the scanner buzzes, yes they've gone thru my bag and swabbed everything, yes my luggage has showed up all torn apart. Get over it.


So because you got used to it, it isn't shitty? They're fucking useless. A giant waste of time that isn't keeping anybody any safer.

it doesnt say NICKNAME. if people just follow instructions, problem solved. I dont put my nicknames in the box, i dont have any trouble. simple as that.


I completely agree. I think it's stupid that it's such serious business now but that's not the point. They say everywhere to make sure you put your proper name on it. Nobody calls me my actual name, but I still put my real name on checks,and other documents. IT's really not that hard to put your full name in the box when you purchase your flight.

Lol based on what? They don't do shit for preventing terrorist attacks. Terrorist attacks don't happen all the time because they don't fucking happen all the time. Fuck this while hype train of how we're always 1 second away from being killed in a terrorist attack.

Hell we put our kids on a bus together and send them to school. Their are no armed guards on the buses, no metal detectors. What's to stop somebody from hijacking one of those buses and doing something crazy? Nothing, but not everybody is a fucking terrorist. How often do parents think "omg! there's no armed guard on my duaghters bus. She's going to be killed by muslims guaranteed!" Fucking never. Yet you fly and there are ALWAYS people talking about this shit as if it's the most common fucking thing in the world.

The TSA makes you FEEL much more safe when flying because your a bitch ass paranoid motherfucker who honestly believes all this bullshit hype. You're probably the type of person when in the bus/train station or airport that when they play those "report suspicious people and bags blah blah safety terror blah blah" you look around and watch people like you're Sherlock Fucking Holmes, about to solve the world biggest mysteries of train station crime.

For the love of god, use your brain and realize how rare these things are. Sure the media is pelting you with them 24/7 but that's because it sells. "Imminent death lurks around every corner" sells a lot better than " old chick get's a free lunch and coffee for 20 years working with one legged cats" or some other shit.

People are addicted to the drama and attracted to the things that will bring the trauma. Overseas we're allegedly trying to stop terorists but we still got terrorists here living in the usa, look at the big CIA, then you have got the bloods, the crips, and the KKK.

MiomoMostly because their goal isn't to blow up the plane. It's to hijack it and use it to cause much more damage to infrastructure, government centers, population centers, and whatnot. But what do I know? I'm just speculating.

Why not just lock the fucking door. or put a system in so you could fly the plan remotely even if everyone but the terrorists was dead. It's 2015. Think about all the far easier ways to fuck things up. Airlines aren't so practical. The thing is airlines are VERY fucking useful for travel. So if you tighten the fuck out of security "because terrorizerzzzzz" you can be as strict as you want and the "because 9/11" is all you need to say.

@borty I agree with you that it's just as likely that a terrorist could hijack a school bus, ship, ect. However, I think plane hijackings are much more feared because once terrorists are in control of the aircraft, there is virtually no way to stop them. On the other hand, if a bus is taken over, we can shoot from the ground at the driver and it's not guaranteed that everyone on board will die. As a result, the TSA is necessary.

Explain to me how you think an f16 can stop a hijacked plane without shooting it down? What, do you think the co pilot is going to pop the top of the f16 and board the hijacked airbus through the emergency exit
