Slim/skinny pants problem

Has anyone had the problem that you cant get your pants over your boots? or that it looks really weird cause you can see the shape of your boots because the pants are barely fitting over them? The pants I've tried is not that skinny either so its really hard to find a pair which fits me well. Maybe my boots are really bulky (Fulltilt Dropkicks). Do anyone have any tips or know if it's possible to bring some more baggier pants to the tailor to make them more slim?
I only buy pants on the interwebz so its really annoying to return them and order another pair to see if they fit.

Put your pants on first before you put on your boots. Problem solved. No worries. I have to do the same thing and I wear baggy pants.

Haha no, who puts their boots on before pants anyway? the problem is that the pants wont come over the boots in a way it looks normal.

^Who cares if your pants look normal. But seriously if you're having trouble just covering the tops of your boots with your pants then you should consider getting bigger pants. It's an important function for the pants to keep water out of your boots. Also if your pants are that skinny can you fit everything you want in your pockets? I can fit liter sized bottles plus my wallet snacks etc. in my pants pockets no problem and it is life saver on hot days when I don't have jacket pockets. If you haven't taken the tags off yet you might want to reconsider the skinny pants thing.
