Always dresses like a gapper but is good as hell and cocky
Does anybody have one of these people at their park? There is this 13 year old kid who isn't sponsored by anyone and he always wears his soccer clothing that's super small. The funny thing is hes really good like not insane but he throws down with the adult park rats and is really consistent. He always tells people the hard ass trick that they cant do that hes gonna do and then he lands it and has a big smile on his face. He cuts people off when they are about to hit a feature and he wins all the competitions and usasa competitions for u16. This is coming on my second year of park so I always try to throw down with him in local comps but I always come short. Like I got better at throwing flips and 270ing on to rails during a jump/combine rail jam comp and I thought I could win or at least do ok. I threw a misty 5 and I landed sloppy. Next thing I knew he threw a rodeo 5 and a switch 2 on to superfed on the rail I was 270ing onto. He later told me he never had done those tricks before. Im kinda cool with this dude but its kinda annoying cus hes real cocky/ dresses like a gaper/ and is was younger then me. LOL its just funny but idk how hes so good maybe just natural talent. I think his grandparents own the ski resort so I guess that's how hes so good. But its real funny cus he dresses like a total gaper all the time and its not on purpose. The first time I saw him i thought he would suck then he threw an under flip off a side hit. I guess goes to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.lol
I have the same thing but I like the kids. A lot of the time what happens is these kids are good beyond there age and they don't know how to handle it but as they mature it gets better.

Some guy at closing day last year was throwing huge backflips and slaying the cannon rail in short denim shorts, a flannel and a big ass straw hat. Inspiring, really.

There's a kid who's 9, dresses like a gaper, and cork sevens while I learned a 720. Always asks "what's your best trick", and then says "I can cork, I'm better".

Look at geopper for example. He got ragged on for so long about how he dressed and his style, but the olympics seemed to treat him well. This goes on at all levels... for a sport that emphasizes how free it is, it's weird how much people like to judge.

I was referring to the attitude. I think the OP was more concerned about the kids "I'm better than you " attitudes. I could care less how one dresses in fact I think that most the gaper dressed kids in the park slay and I encourage that style.I like to see people not give one fuck or two shits
