These are not the Kartel 106 replacement. I've been excited about these since last January, super stoked to get on a pair, hopefully really soon.

I only considered the thought since they look decently wide in the tip. What makes them different from the 98's? Are they full camber of something really neat like that?

I feel like they're gonna have a softer flex than most oneps. just my prediction..

I've been skiing on Wrens 102 in 186 last season and a few few days this season (we ain't getting snow at all) and I feel the skis are too demanding for me, I might be biased tho. I enjoy them a lot and I have put them everywhere I could last season. We get lot of crud here and they were amazing. I'm only 5'6 (172cm) and 153 lbs. Could they be too big for me, too stiff perhaps? Or I might just suck big time, lol

Can someone with last years Wrens shed some light in here? Are you using them as a daily ski? Sincerely I can't see myself riding Wrens everyday, specially on hard groomers.

You are definitely on a ski that's a little long, I would put you on a 176 with no hesitation and steer you totally clear of the 186. Your skis must be a full head higher than you?

just saw the bunchstagram's finito and i think it was magnus that was riding them, a pair of on3ps with a blue base instead of green. Is this thew new color for 2017 or were they just a one time thing

Bases will stay green for 2017.

Occasionally, we'll use old material for a team ski or prototype.

Yeah they are.

The thing is I can ride other 185ish skis just fine but I seem to struggle a bit with this one.

Seeing how the Kartels get so much gooooooood reviews here I was wondering if I should switch to a shorter Kartels than my Wrens, because I'm in need of a daily ski as I'm riding a friends ski right now... and try to sell my Wrens which is going to be difficult in here.

2016 Flithy Rich's vs. 2016 Kartel 98

I am 5'10, 175 lbs, agressive skier. Will be mounting pivot 14s. I ski park but also all mountain (60 % park / 40 % all mountain) and natural features. Take many trips out west and up in the northeast. I like to butter so i want a soft ski but I love to charge groomers. Reason I want either of these models is because I want a ski that has a somewhat aggressive rocker.

-4 on a 181cm. Varies between the sizes.

If you want to be closer to center, go +2. from the recommended mark.

Not on my Jessie's haha. They're a little heavy for me and my pivots don't help haha. I'd probably just use my park skis. I'm so fucking nervous for it hahaha.

Finally got out on my new kartel 106 today, fucking beast of a ski.

Anyone in Alta knows that pow was sick today but the Kartel cut through it like butter, saved me from sinking waist deep many a time lol.

steeple 102's are the shit. There has been talk about getting a baby billygoat made, I think if on3p released a limited steeple 102 that rode damper and was capable in chop I would be into it.

Yea, I got em used. Other than the chipping, and the mount, they're mint, so I'm stoked. Also Jeff 122 topsheet on the 114s.

Thinking of getting an ON3P quiver. Get the Kartels for like an everyday charger/pow ski, keep filthy riches for park, maybe get a touring ski or purely pow ski.

Just skied the deepest pow of my life in Whistler on my Jessie 100s. We had like 3 pow days and I brought them like everywhere on the mountain and they were so solid. I even hit a few boxes on them(never wanted to bring them into park but it happened lol) and actually really liked the width. I've only ever skied like 85mm underfoot skis but idk, the extra width was cool in park. Like just enough to feel more stable but not too much that theyre too heavy to spin! They even survived an under rotated backie Hahahaha. I was so nervous that I cracked a tip, but it was all good! So yeah basically, these are the best skis I've ever skied and I'm stoked to have been able to ski out here! So fucking perfect for how/what I ski!

I've been waiting to pull the trigger on a pair of these for a while now as my Jay Peak powder/Utah travel ski to complement my FR. Reviews like this always lead to me being out $700 soon thereafter

Yeah, so I was in Utah for a couple days and they held up great in the deep stuff, but I really got them for those days where there are 5-10 inches on the ground and my old cambered park skis really fucking sucked.

From what I've done on them (3 days), they are really fun, I'm not heavy so not quite as soft as I hoped, but real playful and snappy because of the bamboo.

I ski a few days at Jay every year and honestly these skis are pretty much perfect fot the conditions up there. Like I've never ridden anything better suited.

Haven't used them in the park yet, we'll see how they hold up (never used a fatter ski in there). I do highly recommend them though. I didn't buy mine off ON3P's site, I got a new pair of the 2015 model (everything same but the topsheet color) off a guy on ebay for like 500 I think. That was kind of lucky though, because they sell out quick and very rarely can be seen on ebay, in buy sell, etc.

Anyway, I do reccomend them if you're shredding the whole mountain a lot.
