RandelI fucked up and got my kartel 98s mounted center. Wasn't thinking at all. Still going to ride them the way they are.
Crispy. How stiff is the Prester? Any skis its comparable too? A wall, Ar7, scratch?

BWalmerI would compare it to the original wall (the green ones), but more responsive. I mean, they were designed for the purpose of skiing fast and off of huge jumps, so they were made to be pretty solid. But, I've been able to still play around with them, once you get used to them and break them in a bit you can butter them and flex them around.
Crispy.Yeah. I'm trying to decide between them and AR7s. Though I don't hit too many jumps over 40 feet, I am stronger than your average park skier at 6'2" 190 lbs. I ski the midwest. I've had some trouble with ON3P edges in the past on more than one pair of skis (which baffles me because of all the rave reviews they get on here). Any insight? My old AR7s were the only ski to last me an entire season haha, but the presters are tempting.
BWalmerA lot of it comes down to how you treat your skis - I typically detune heavily before they touch a rail, gummy stone regularly to decrease burs that might catch and cause a crack, and if I do get a crack I smooth it down so it doesn't continue to catch. While this will work on most skis, the thickness of the edges does help them last longer.
As far as picking between the Prester and the AR7, I found that the Prester carves better than the AR7 (especially when center mounted). The AR7 and Prester both have an asymmetrical sidecut, but the recommended mounting point of the Prester is at true (measured) center while the AR7 is at -5cm, this means that the ski was designed to carve well at center while the AR7s aren't necessarily designed to be skied at center. Also, I love stiffer skis, they just seem more stable on all conditions, so it comes down to person preference, but at your size you'll enjoy a more stable platform and still be able to power butters and presses out. The other thing I love is how the skis love to be driven, a lot of park skis these days aren't designed to be driven, they're just meant to get to the park, the Prester can be railed around on groomers like a GS ski (well, almost like a GS skis -- I wouldn't race them through gates or anything, but it could be done) which makes them a really fun ski all over the mountain.
It's really up to you, if you're worried about them, that's understandable, but honestly, I love my Presters. I found myself skiing Presters most of the season until it became heavy slush, then I went with the Kartel 98 to surf around on.
Crispy. You have me sold thanks sir. Do you detune with a file or gummy stone?
lukemeahan.Any recommendation on wear to mount my 181cm 122 jeffrey with my salomon guardians?
Noss.About to pull the trigger on some '16 Filthy Rich's but I have a few questions. Should I buy 176 or 181? I am 5'10, 175 lbs, agressive skier, etc. I own 177 Afterbangs and 189 One Lifes. With the rocker I know that the Rich's will ski shorter but I need advice. Also what does ON3P recommend I mount? Jesters, FKS, Salomon, etc. Cheers

AnesteeziaAfter a quick comparison, I can confirm that ON3P blows J Skis out of the water with their design. I love it, man. I'm sure they will ride just as great as they look.
AnesteeziaI ski like 70% all-mountain
LiteratureFor the eagle eye'd who have wandered the website, this will be no surprise, but if you didn't see them yet, here's some of our first custom topsheets for this year. You saw it here first.
Left four pairs are our custom colors (Jeff 114s, most likely), and the right pair is a Thanks Obama (BG or C&D).
RudyGarmischDave, I like em bigger.

RedPandaI literally could not be happier with my Kartel 98's. Favorite skis I've ever ridden. Super stable but also poppy and fun when they need to be. Park, rocks, crud, they shred everything. ON3P 4 lyfe.
jackdonovanFilthy Riches are easily the best and most fun ski i have ever skied. Was able to get all of my tricks back yesterday and more. Rocker made swaps and surface swaps super easy. Took 2 runs to get used to the ski and had a great day. They were super playful but still stiff and strong for landings and ruts after rails.

iggyskierNice! Glad you guys are stoked.
gnar_whalHey Iggy just wondering I ordered some Kartel 98's with a custom filthy rich top sheet November 3rd. I think you said they would ship sometime after Thanksgiving. Is that still about right?
gnar_whalWhere did you end up mounting them?
iggyskierWe're right in the middle of custom production. I think we have 20-30 pairs of just customs shipping out tomorrow.
Solid colors, Eh Ski, Top Swaps, and Thanks Obama pressing is almost done (I think less than 5 pairs left between them). Most have shipped, remaining should ship this week.
Wood Veneer is about 1/2 pressed. Those + the GrizzlyCorn + Prester production is the rest this week (we're just waiting for the GC bases to arrive, which should be any day now)
Hope that helps.

AnesteeziaDo you know approximately how long it takes to get the stickers out? I know its definitely not a priority, but just wondering.
