PownessIt's fuckin classic, but my long term plan involves more skis so will suck to have the same graphic on every ski. Anybody know why 191CM isn't an option in custom? Already have 191 GC Ski.
Thanks dude. Really leaning towards the Jeff 114 because of the backbone versus Kartel. Anybody have any remarks about the Kartel 106 versus Jeff 114?
Before these go to print, Trevor is going to tweak them slightly this year - trying to make the bear a bit more visible on the ski itself. Unfortunately, the limiting factor is the files these were built with (just a product of the contest). They are basically computer screen quality, so they really struggle as we blow them up to print on skis. With that in mind, there really isn't a ton of stuff we can do to tweak them and change them up, without rebuilding from scratch with entirely different images.
As for the JF 114 vs Kartel 106...radius is the key. Do you want something more stable at speed, or carvy? Both are pretty stable, and the backbone difference between the K106 and JF114 isn't as crazy as it is between the K98 and JF114. I could ski both the K106 and JF114 everyday. But the way they engage in a turn is pretty different.
If I were looking for a true everyday ski, I lean towards the K106 because I like the ability to lay a ski over, and don't need the width. If I had a low snow ski, and wanted something for softer days, the stability of the JF114 is better in my opinion.

I've got a hankering to grab some white Jeffery 122's and try my hand at drawing on them...
Custom skis options right now are limited to skis ready to press in our permanently set up molds. A number of molds we are already pressed and done for the year.
If you are interested in a JF122 with a custom graphic, email me and if we are going to be back to it I will let you know. I know we thought we were done with the JF122 in a 191cm for the season, but looks like it is already sold out so we will probably try and loop back around and press some more pairs sometime in November.
