Replying to Powder skis in the park

have posted this article before but i still cant wrap my head around it. there is a local skier at my hill that used to ski k2 hellbents in the park. he has since moved on to surface skis and i saw him riding the outsiders. and 1 week ago i saw a video of a guy cork sevening a jump on bentchetlers. now granted this may be weird and the setups may be heavy. but when i last posted this people thought i was crazy and people said it was impossible. but i have seen this style more and more in the midwest. so my question is. have any of you guys done it or ridden bigger skis in the park. yes i know they arent ideal and surface swaps may be significantly harder. how much more of a challenge is it.
