My macbook is old as shit and I am in the market for a new laptop. I have no preference to Apple or PC. My main conundrum is final cut vs premier and lightroom. I'm leaning towards going to premier and lightroom way for editing photos and vids (just for fun). I know I need at least 8g of ram and a good processor. It's all Chinese to me after that.
My dad has an Asus with a touch screen which I do like very much. I am not looking for touch screen for editing purposes, I just really like it.
So media and arts professionals, what is your recommendation.
