I visited last fall and they have a sweet little park on campus. I know oliskiz123 (I think that's his name) goes there and is really talented at filming and editing, and from what I know they throw down, hard. Skiing is sick there.
As far as the school is as a school, it's certainly not your typical prep school, you won't see the usual sperrys and blazers from just walking around. There is solid a really good academic support program there if you need it, but academics aren't too rigorous/solid. For somebody looking for fun and good skiing it would be pretty sweet, but not if you're looking to use HS as a crutch to get into a good college or get a great education with the credentials to stand for it. VA girls have a pretty trashy rep on prepfessions (which is to be taken with a grain of salt), but that group is to be found at pretty much every boarding school in New England (if you give rich high schoolers freedom they will do stupid things - drugs and sex). It's a really small community and in most sports you will be competing with the New England league so lots of teams from all over that are solid.
Are you looking at the other freestyle-skiin friendly schools around NE? Like Proctor, Holderness, Northwood Academy, CVA, Gould, etc? If you want info on any of them feel free to pm me and I'll fill you in with whatever I know.
