ET and Inside Edition are completr trash. I'll watch the first 30 seconds of ABC world news to get caught up on current events, but after dinner when I'm doing dishes and I accidentally leave the TV on, I have to change the channel as fast as possible because I can't stand their garbage content.
What do you mean by "worst". They all have their ups and downs. For example, FOX news is just a bunch of idiots trying to push a political agenda in such a way that comes across as unintentionally comical. The same can be said about MSNBC. However both have a rock solid business model which has lead to great success by both. So in a way they are both the worst and the best (What does that say about our society?). It's easy to blame news networks for stirring the pot on many issues such as rasism, guns, drones, and politics however it is important to realize that they are merely a business with profit in mind. What frustrates me is peoples inability to identify objective facts(Which can be hard to find) and draw their own conclusions. Cable news is a thing of the past, and networks are doing all that they can to stay relevant. Which has lead to what we see today.

MSNBC has the absolute worst business model due to the fact that they have the worst talent and content. Their current primetime viewership is only around 300,000.
Fox news has 1.72 million at primetime. Fox has also been the top cable news channel for the past 159 consecutive months.
When it comes to the numbers Fox is the best out there.

That may be so. However they still have the same basic approach to presenting news. This can't be said as much about ABC or CNN (They do lean on the liberal side though).

The incident is indicative of a news network who relies on shock factor and drama to attract viewers rather than accurate telling of the news. Reading news from a right wing, conservative, perspective is fine, it's part of freedom of speech, but with fox the news is secondary.
As Emerson (their expert) states that Birmingham is off limits, the anchor recoils in shock. Does she interject here, does she ask for more details or how he knows Birmingham is off-limits? No. Her reaction serves little purpose other than cementing Mr Emerson's words into the minds of the viewer. There is no analysis. The false facts are laid out and they are not refuted. These guests do appear on proper networks, however the difference between Fox and a proper network is Fox does not challenge the statement. Therefore, it is Fox News, the network, who is at fault for spreading the lie.
This was part of Fox news attempt at segregating Muslims in the post-Charlie Hebdo attack. It was far from the only lie they spread during this period. An 'expert' went unchallenged as he said Paris had many 'Muslim only no-go zones' throughout the city, stating what he saw there (Bin Laden t-shirts and terrorist propaganda speeches). This was taken in by the network, and regurgitated several times, there is absolutely no question that Fox News is at fault for spreading this. Is it truth or lie? Well, Parisian magazine 'Le Petit Journal' went to their no-go zones.
Even though Fox is completely wrong here, Europe is no utopia. Our cities aren't socially perfect. There are areas in European cities, such as Paris and Birmingham, with outrageously high crime rates. These are places where no sane middle class person would go.
But this happens in every major city, and the worst G8 country in the world for it is the USA. Would you go to south side Chicago? Is that a 'no-go zone' for any sane, white, middle class person? Yeah, it is. Do other cities have this problem? Yeah, loads of them.
And this is why Fox News doesn't just propagate lies and fear, it's downright disgusting. A network which would rather make up problems overseas than report on the same issue in their own country does not report the news.
But why won't fox discuss the issues in their own country? You could say because they're boring, because American gang violence and massive inequality has become so engrained in their country that people are just used to them. Or maybe, it's because the solutions are so inconvenient to the extreme conservative. They would rather ignore the issues than challenge their ways of thinking to solve them.
So yeah, Fox News may not itself be why America is so abysmally run (by western European standards), but it's certainly a good indicator as to the reasons.

MSNBC's content is 85% opinion driven while only 15% is news. On the other hand Fox news is 55% opinion driven with 45% dedicated to news.

I'm not trying to defend Fox because I know they skew things and blow stuff out of proportion. But when it comes to the numbers Fox is simply better.
As a person who is forced to watch that bullshit channel they call Fox News (Faux News), I can say with confidence it is one of the most biased news programs out there. They are soooooooooooo anti Obama/pro any conservative its disgusting. Not saying CNN or MSNBC is any better on the other side but from my experience this is the case. Shit, when a news channel has to tell you they're "fair and balanced" you know something is fucked up. Bill O'Reilly and the Fox Five are fucking idiots and a fucking joke. They've been embarrassed on so many occasions I've actually lost count.
