wesley.I tried to get into it but nothing aside from shutdown or thats not me appealed to me. I like the whole mindset behind it though, it almost reminds me of hardcore punk.

That video makes me laugh every time I see it. It's filmed in an ex-council estate, the barbican centre. A small flat there costs more than £1million ($1.5m) now and you have this 'crew' rolling up acting thug for a video just because the place still looks a bit like an estate. That said it's an alright tune, it's just such obvious posing that I find it funny. I think grime has some great songs (and plenty of horrific ones), I agree it has that punk mentality for today's youth though I'd take the sound of punk any day.
As an aside, the first time I ever heard grime was in the 'palace' above the chicken shop in waterloo which the brand Palace is named after (Pow by lethal b when it first dropped).
