Replying to I need an opinion..

So yesterday my parents bought me a macbook for college as a graduation present. It's awesome, I love it. Im due for a cell phone upgrade in about a week and I've been using android for the past 4 years and I've always been a huge fan. But my dad was saying I should get a iPhone to use with my macbook. I was planning on getting the Galaxy S6, but now I'm up in the air. I like android better, but should i get an iPhone to be compatible with my macbook?
