ghosthopI've read that they source cores from the exact same company. obviously the construction of the rest of the ski will differ between companies
tomPietrowskiBut hopefully the new core technology will spread to the park skis. A few brand next year are making park skis lighter and this is somthing I a big fan of. If you can make a ski just as stable but lighter who would not want that.
TwigI don't think that's likely to happen soon, at least with cloud core. As already mentioned in this thread, the original Faction Candide 1.0 (blue) had this construction and they had some serious durability issues. So much so that Faction abandoned using the cores in that ski and never released the balsa core 2.0. From this point on this is speculation, but I'd say that suggests Faction don't think the balsa cores can stand up to the abuses of park skiing.
