I need a good park and pipe boot. I am 5'7' and about 135. I need a boot with a soft to medium flex. I am size 27-27.5. It needs to be around $300. Any recommendations?
i recommend going to a bootfitter! a good boot will make a shitty ski good, but a shitty boot will make the best ski a shitty ski. and just because you're spending a lot of time in those boots makes you wanna get the perfect fit.
with regards to boots, throw out any and all pre-conceived notions and what boot you think is best. The best boot for your foot is the one that fits. Get custom made foot beds and go to a great boot fitter. For example Aaron Blunck skis in a race boot
go to a bootfitter I thought I would like dalbellos but when I tried them on they were really not comfortable and it turned out that full tilts and nordicas fit me the best so I went with the full tilts and got them heat molded, they are so comfortable now I don't even unbuckle them when I go in the lodge. But if you want to find them cheap you could go to a boot fitter and try some different ones on and see how they feel. Pick your favorite one and get a pair off the sell and trade forum or eBay or something, that will be your best bet for getting them cheap. Then
Get them heat molded or something.
Get a bootfitter like said, Id say Dalbello but go with what you feel is best, Im 5'6" and about 130 and my il moros fit very well and are comfortable even without molding.
