Replying to Uploaded pics and vids not showing up?

So I have a problem. I've tried everything to try and get my pictures and videos I've uploaded onto my profile so when someone clicks my "pictures" tab they can see them. But the problem is that they don't show up! I've tried 1.) resizing 2.) changing the type of file 3.) changing dimensions. Same thing for videos and still no luck. But after uploading tons of pictures and stuff I can easily post them to threads, but are still not on my actual profile when someone clicks on it. Help?? Am I doing something wrong?
